A figurine of a soldier with a rifle from the "The Royal Guards" collection by the legendary designer Kay Bojesen. "The Royal Danish Life Guards" are the royal guards that have defended castles in Denmark since 1658. Kay designed his first regiment in 1942, with distinctive black caps, red dress uniforms and a Danish cross. Each soldier is packed in a sentinel box with the monogram of the Danish Queen. The Royal Guards soldiers were made of painted beech wood.
